This feature is extended to third-party applications through a new API in the cloud It provides developers the ability to integrate OneNote snip into their applications. Along with a Mac version, Microsoft has also released a OneNote plug-in for browsers Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox and Safari on Mac that allows users to save clippings from web pages. Both versions share the same work philosophy, ribbon interface, and free-form note-taking features. The Mac version is very similar to the Windows version with a few visual differences.
